Some of you may be thinking "Ah but wait! Don't you have to charge the batteries? Doesn't that increase my home electricity bill?" Well yes you do have to charge the battery, most will charge overnight and some will charge over 2-3hours. But on average the cost of charging a battery is between 10-15p. Now when you consider that charge a single could last you anything between 30-60 miles that works out at incredible value for money.
3 - No fear
A lot of people object to riding to work because they feel nervous in traffic or riding around town. There are lots of regional companies that can help you improve your cycling skills, and some do specific courses for town and city riding. However with the extra power and acceleration you get from an electric bike you may not need those courses. Using your electric bike you could accelerate away from traffic lights leaving the all the cars behind you, allowing you to cycle safely on your own.
